Dear Jets Families

In case you haven’t heard or seen the articles in Jetstream, the Jets are holding their first ever Family Fun Day on Sunday 26th June, 11am to 3pm so please book this into your diaries and let all your friends and family know.

There is still a lot to organise but an update so far :

-Club Sponsor stalls are being organised. It’s great to have our sponsors involved, they can come along and see what a positive difference their valuable support makes to the Jets.

- FREE face painting for our families (thank you to My Gungahlin)

- Watch out for great raffles on the day : BBQ/raffle baskets – one just for the kids too

- Side show alley games

- Tug of war : mums v dads, kids v parents, coaches v managers, u10s v u11s, u17s v YGs….

- 3 legged races : start practicing everyone – parents/kids, teammates, coach/mgr teams….

- ACT Rural Fire Service Fire Truck will be in attendance

- Cake stall : if we go by last year’s success, this will be even bigger and better. Calling on all Jets families to start planning on what they can bake, ice and create to donate to this stall please.

- Merchandise & 2nd hand Jets gear store : let’s see a sea of blue/black around the grounds

We are also sourcing small prizes for our activities/games (bouncy balls, marbles, cards, little figurines, toys…anything) so if you have anything lying around that you don’t need anymore, we would love them. There is a plastic tub in the property container at Amaroo where these can be donated. Just enter and look up to your right, it’s labelled.
